Pocket Hose Top Brass Reviews
• Innovative design
• Lightweight
• Durability concerns
• Leakage and bursts common
Pocket Hose Top Brass is an innovative design, with poor execution. While the product seems to be an attempt to fix durability problems with the original Pocket Hose, leakages and bursts are still common, and it appears they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Pocket Hose Top Brass Reviews
By marketing a “stronger” version of the Pocket Hose, one may suspect that the “Top Brass” version is a sort of admission that the original Pocket Hose was plagued with durability problems. One also might assume that a “3x stronger” version would actually perform better. Ironically, reviews for Pocket Hose Top Brass seem to focus primarily on its lack of durability. At Home Depot, for example, it has a 1.6 star rating, with words such as “burst” “leak” and even “junk” found in multiple reviews.
Although some customers have reported leaks at the brass fittings, we found that the connectors actually held up. In our case, the lining of the hose was biggest the cause of concern. The middle of the hose filled like a water balloon. The PSI is a rather low 80, which relegates it to light use at best. When asked about the product, a local Home Depot manager told us returns were rather high for the product, with leaks being cited as the primary reason.
The durability concerns are unfortunate, as Pocket Hose Top Brass has a great design which has lots of potential. Hopefully if there is a third installment of the hose, they can get the design flaws corrected and provide consumers with a well-crafted and innovative hose that lives up to the advertising hype. This one does not.
