Crepe Erase is billed in a rather confusing “installment” system. You choose between two available kits: a Maximum Results System or the Introductory System.

The more expensive kit includes Exfoliating body polish, Intensive Body Repair Treatment, Refining Facial Scrub, Restorative Facial Treatment, and Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion. The “Introductory” system includes only the body polish and body repair treatment. Both kits include a free gift, which as of this writing is the Advanced Firming Eye Serum.

Crepe Erase is a two-step skin care system which is designed to improve the look of “crepey-looking” skin. The secret is said to be in the proprietary “TruFirm” complex. We are not told the ingredients of TruFirm, although some reviewers have suggested that it contains common moisturizing ingredients.

Crepey skin happens over time as collagen and elastin fibers degrade with age. This results in a somewhat thin, dry, and stretched appearance. A number of plastic surgeons provided answers to the problem of crepey skin back in 2010 at RealSelf, with the consensus suggesting that it is difficult to treat and there is no magic bullet solution to the problem.

Crepe Erase is sold in two different sizes of “kits” which are supposed to last three months. Only a pearl-sized amount is to be used, and if this is followed by consumers, then it should last that amount of time. But can a pearl-sized amount make a dent in problem areas?

A writer at Allure asked a cosmetic chemist about the ingredients in Crepe Erase. “Beyond moisturizing, I don’t see anything that’s proven to provide any special benefits.” Another expert pointed out that the crepe effect is a result of extreme dryness, so moisturizing products like Crepe Erase “would erase it temporarily…but it’s not magic.”

The Derm Review ranks Crepe Erase at #98, with a 40% rating (D Grade), in its list of products in 2015.

Crepe Erase is praised for its ability to moisturize and provide radiant skin, although its ability to treat crepey skin is probably marginal at best.

Epic Conclusion

Crepe Erase does a fine job of plumping skin and deep moisturizing. It is difficult to justify such an extreme price tag for a product which doesn’t disclose its ingredients. Crepey skin is a difficult problem to treat, and it is not apparent what advantage Crepe Erase provides over less expensive moisturizers.
