Quick Cups by Spin Master takes the idea behind Speed Cups – which requires players to match and stack cups according to a drawn card – and turns it into a multi-player family board game.
The premise is simple: up to 6 players attempt to match a drawn card with their multi-colored speed cups. The first person to correctly match their cups with the card and ring the bell wins that card. Those with the most cards at the end wins.
The pace is fast and the rounds are short. It is a simple game which can be enjoyed for a short or long period of time.
As a few commenters have pointed out, this may not be ideal for competitive older and younger kids to play together, as it will likely take younger kids longer to get the cups in the correct order. Parents playing along with their kids are probably already accustomed to slowing down to match their kids’ pace, however. Older kids may not find it to hold their attention as long as younger players, so it may be a better fit for those on the lower end of the recommended age range (6+).
